Kyle Morris, a native of Baxley, GA, graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Biology.  Following completion of his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia in 1987, he spent three years of residency training in Family Medicine with the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville, SC.  Dr. Morris served as Chief Resident for Family Medicine during his final year of Residency and also co-authored a clinical research paper.  

Dr. Morris moved to Monroe is 1992 and founded Walton Family Medicine, P.C.  He and his family have been active members of the Walton County Community and been involved in many charitable organizations.  He is a former member of the Rotary Club and has served on the Walton County Hospital Authority and the Walton County Board of Health, along with numerous positions with Walton Regional Medical Center.  He has served as team physician for local high schools and coached several youth sports teams.  He is a past president of the East Atlanta Metro Medical Society and an active member of the Medical Association of Georgia, AMA, GAFP and AAFP.

Dr. Morris enjoys the diversity that Family Medicine offers as well as the opportunity to meet and care for multiple generations within the same family.  He has a special interest in preventive medicine and educating patients on healthy lifestyles.  He offers many minor, office-based surgical procedures and cardiopulmonary tests including cardiac stress testing, pulmonary function testing, 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and arrthymia detection.  He particularly enjoys teaching medical students and medical residency physicians for the Medical College of Georgia, Emory University and Mercer University.  He also provides acute care of hospital patients at Walton Regional Medical Center.

In his free time, Dr. Morris enjoys competitive tennis, quail hunting, landscaping, backyard sports with his children and reading.  He and his wife, Ellen, have four active teenagers: Caitlin; Kyle, Jr.; Gordy and Will.  The Morris family attends St. Oliver Plunkett Catholic Church in Snellville.
