We’re proud to care for a diverse patient community and are especially honored to serve our older patients. Our physicians understand the unique health needs of aging adults and work closely with families and specialists to provide coordinated, high-quality care.

Urgent Care


  • While Walton Family Medicine isn’t a walk-in urgent care, our team can treat many minor emergencies and acute illnesses during scheduled appointments.
  • We handle strains, sprains, nosebleeds, allergic reactions, lacerations, open wounds, and more—six days a week. If X-rays or lab work are needed, we’ll provide the necessary orders.
  • And if your condition requires more advanced care, we’ll promptly refer you to a nearby emergency room.

Preventative Medicine


  • At Walton Family Medicine, your health is our priority. We emphasize prevention as much as treatment, offering comprehensive health maintenance exams tailored to your age, health status, and goals.
  • We provide lab orders, with convenient testing available next door, and offer screenings for men and women—including prostate and breast cancer screenings.
  • We also help prevent and manage conditions like hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, and osteoporosis, and can refer you for additional tests such as colonoscopies, cardiac stress tests, and EKGs.

Minor Office Surgery

  • Our physicians perform a wide range of minor office procedures, including wart and skin cancer removal, biopsies, abscess drainage, and laceration repair.
  • We also offer joint injections and aspirations, as well as removal of foreign objects like splinters, fish hooks, and pellets.
  • For the best care, please call ahead to schedule these procedures, as some require extra time and preparation.

Internal Medicine


  • Internal medicine is at the heart of what we do at Walton Family Medicine. Our physicians provide wellness exams, treat common conditions, and manage chronic issues like hypertension, diabetes, and cholesterol.
  • If specialty care is needed, we’ll connect you with trusted regional specialists and help determine the best fit for your specific needs.

Cardiology

Walton Family Medicine offers a full range of cardiology services, including heart disease risk screenings and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.

If you have heart concerns or an existing condition, we’ll coordinate your care and collaborate with trusted local cardiologists to ensure you receive comprehensive, high-quality treatment.

Gynecology

Walton Family Medicine provides gynecological care, including routine exams, PAP smears, and treatment for common conditions. We also offer pregnancy and contraceptive counseling.

While we don’t place or remove IUDs or provide obstetrical care, we do care for pregnant patients’ general health needs and can refer you to trusted OB-GYN specialists for prenatal or specialized services.

Pediatrics

Why make an extra stop at a pediatrician’s office when your whole family can be cared for in one place?

Walton Family Medicine provides high-quality pediatric care, including yearly well-child exams, physicals, and most recommended immunizations (depending on insurance).

We also treat a wide range of minor illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions in children.
